Lamb Burger with roasted eggplant spread, baby spinach & sprouts

4 hamburger buns

Kemia roasted eggplant spread

Handful baby spinach

Sprouts, to taste

2 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil

Lamb burgers:

400 g minced lamb meat

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

1 white onion, chopped

30 g breadcrumbs

1 egg white

A pinch of salt

Black pepper, to taste


  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine lamb burger ingredients. Use your hands to combine all the ingredients.
  2. Form four burger patties of the same size.
  3. Heat grill pan over medium-high heat and cook the burgers for approx. 5 minutes per side.
  4. Cut the buns in half and grill them on the same grill pan, cut-side down for one minute.
  5. Spread Kemia eggplant spread over the cut-side of the top portion of the bun.
  6. Top the bottom portion of the bun with baby spinach, lamb burger, and sprouts.
  7. Serve and enjoy.

Additional Tips

  • For more flavor, add a teaspoon or two of Kemia harissa to the minced meat mixture.
