Kemia Shakshuka with Egg Breakfast Toasts

4 slices whole-wheat bread

2 tablespoon butter

4 eggs

Kémia Shakshuka

Salt, to taste

Fresh parsley


  1. Cut a hole in the middle of each bread slice using a small glass.
  2. Melt the butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  3. Season the butter with salt and pepper.
  4. Add bread slices and toast them for 3 minutes on one side.
  5. Flip them and crack the eggs into each hole.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Cover with a lid and cook until the eggs are ready.
  8. Remove the slices from the skillet and spread Shakshuka around the eggs.
  9. Serve and enjoy!

Additional Tips

  • You can garnish the slices with chopped parsley ad crumbled feta cheese.
