

Sauteed okra with cayenne peppers

Ingredients
½ lb fresh young okra, washed
1 onion, sliced
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, to taste
Kémia cayenne peppers
Instructions
- Heat 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil in a pan over medium heat
- Add sliced onion, and sauté for about 5 minutes until golden.
- Add the okras, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Sauté over medium-low heat until tender.
- Add Kémia cayenne peppers and toss to combine.
- Serve and enjoy.
Additional Tips
- You can sauté tomato paste with okras if desired.
- Serve with cooked rice, harissa chicken drumsticks, or other meat dishes.
